About Me
Welcome! I am an Assistant Professor of Economics in Caltech's Division of the Humanities and Social Sciences.
I am an economic historian working at the intersection of finance and public economics. My work examines the role of financial crises in debt markets, specifically their impact on public good provision and the development of the American economy over the last 150 years. I teach machine learning for finance and economic applications (B.S.) and U.S. economic history (B.S. and Ph.D.).
